I'm Brendan Mullin and I'm currently employed as the Multimedia Editor and Chief Photographer at the State News, Michigan State University's independent student voice. I've worked here for over a year now, but I began my journey as a photographer in the United States Marine Corps. Enlisting at 19, I went on to serve as a Combat Photographer for just under six years. During my time with the Marine Corps, my photos were published by the Associated Press, Reuters, ABC News, CBS News, Fox News, and countless other trade publications. While I was recognized as the Marine Corps' Writer of the Year in 2022, my passion lies with photography— I love capturing moments in ways that words simply can't express.
